Today, we have a roastery on the same property, but our focus is on sourcing premium organic Arabica beans for our blends. Coffee has always been part of my life. After growing up surrounded by the daily rhythms of a busy coffee business, I worked as a barista and eventually ran my own café in Akaroa, New Zealand.

Starting Caldera Coffee felt like a natural progression—a way to blend my lifelong love for coffee with years of industry experience. I feel incredibly lucky to spend my days exploring the rich, complex flavours of coffee while working side by side with my family.

At Caldera, we believe good coffee starts with good beans. That’s why our blends are made from certified organic, toxin-free beans, grown and roasted with care. Our pods are fully home compostable—because coffee should taste good and feel good, without costing the earth.
